I make performance that combines storytelling, theatre and live art, explores how we connect with each other and looks to create a conversation between people.

It is usually optimistic, pessimistic and nihilistic; looks at the current conditions of society; plays with the relationship between the performers and the audience; and - tries to be - beautiful.

It is inspired by a variety of things and people: from traditional storytellers and theatre makers to experimental performance artists, from mainstream media to radical thinkers, from critical theory and scientific research to outright negligent speculation.

I am co-artistic director of take stock exchange, a community storytelling and theatre company, and a National Theatre Connections Director. I was selected as a Clore Emerging Cultural Leader in 2016.

I have made work with Arcola, The Bush, Camden People's Theatre, Fevered Sleep, Latitude, The Menier Chocolate Factory, The National Theatre, The Old Vic, Old Vic New Voices, Pentabus, The Pleasance, The Watermill, The Young Vic, Zoo.

I create workshops that typically focus on enabling people to explore the relationship between ourselves, others, the places we live and work and the wider world.

These workshops are rooted in my practice as a theatre maker, and look at the ways in which we communicate with and influence other people and our environment.

I deliver workshops with a variety of organisations - charities, corporations and education bodies.

I coach people, helping them to find solutions to issues in both personal and professional contexts.
